LABORATORIUM: ALL-IN 2 JAZZ

A legend of Polish jazz-rock takes the stage at All-in 2 Jazz.

Since 1970, Laboratorium has been delighting audiences at home and abroad, combining the freedom of jazz, the energy of rock, and a constant drive for artistic exploration. After more than five decades of activity, the band continues to prove that its music remains vibrant, bold, and defies simple categorization.

In 2018, after a 32-year hiatus from releasing albums, Laboratorium returned with its tenth studio album—“NOW”. The album was recorded by the following lineup: Janusz Grzywacz, Marek Stryszowski, Marek Raduli, Krzysztof Ścierański, and the tragically deceased Grzegorz Grzyb.

The album’s release date was no coincidence. It was released on November 2, the birthday of Grzegorz Grzyb, who recorded his first—and last—album with the band at the legendary Izabelin Studio.

“NOW” features ten deeply personal compositions—full of intense sounds, improvisational freedom, and the musical boldness characteristic of Laboratorium. The album features guest appearances by **Bernard Maseli, O.S.T.R., and Jaroz**, and the cover was created by the internationally acclaimed contemporary artist **Mirosław Rogala**.

The album achieved gold status, confirming that Laboratorium’s work continues to attract new generations of listeners. Among the band’s fans is Russell Hobbs—the virtual drummer for Gorillaz.
